Area of Work
Public HealthWe consider that only a healthy society can strive to become a wealthy society.
Why Public Health?
We respect the global goals for Sustainable Development adopted in 2015 by the UN General Assembly which exclusively included the health goal of ‘ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.’
As a group of health professionals, lawyers, and policy experts we aim to support organisations to focus on health outcomes and to prioritise their actions towards achieving the global goal of health for all at all ages. As we say, prevention is better than cure, we focus on advancing public health policies by supporting institutions and organisations to prioritise actions that help in creating an effective policy environment for better health outcomes.
We believe that health outcomes for poor and vulnerable sections of our society (tribal, slum dweller, women, illiterate) can be greatly improved by timely and evidence-based policy and research interventions.
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
